Custom porcelain veneers for McCordsville patients, planned by Dr. Louis Abukhalaf, Kois Center-trained cosmetic dentist.
Meet Dr. Louis Abukhalaf — Your Veneers Dentist

Dr. Abukhalaf is the dentist who will personally plan and place your veneers. He graduated magna cum laude from Marquette's dental program and earned his undergraduate degree summa cum laude from Loyola Chicago in chemistry and biochemistry. His postgraduate cosmetic training is the credential most relevant to your case: the Kois Center, which focuses on the science of bite, smile design, and predictable cosmetic outcomes. He is also a Misch Implant Institute graduate, which is useful when veneer planning interacts with implant or full-mouth work.
He sees patients from McCordsville, Fortville, Fishers, and the Geist-adjacent communities. His approach is consistent: plan the case in digital preview before any preparation, prepare conservatively, try in before bonding, and produce results that look like your own teeth at their best.
How We Plan Your Veneers
The planning visit is the most important appointment in the entire process. We photograph your smile from several angles, take an intraoral scan (no impression putty), and record a short video of how your face moves when you talk and smile. Using Digital Smile Design, we build a preview of your veneers and show you the result before any tooth is touched. You approve the design first; preparation happens second.
Preparation is conservative. For most cases, that means a fraction of a millimeter of enamel removal; for some cases, none. The less enamel we remove, the stronger your tooth stays underneath and the more options you keep open in the future. You wear temporaries that look like the final design while the porcelain is being made, which gives you a chance to test-drive the smile in your daily life before final bonding.
Bonding is one visit. You try in the porcelain, check the shade under natural light, and approve. We bond with cosmetic-grade adhesive, polish, check the bite, and you drive home.
Getting Here from McCordsville
From most of McCordsville — Gateway Crossing, Bay Creek, and the neighborhoods south of Broadway — the route to our office is about 20 minutes southwest. Take Mt. Comfort Road south to 56th Street, then west to Shadeland Avenue, then south to Washington Street. Our office is at 115 N Shortridge Road, Suite 200, just north of the Washington Street and Shortridge intersection.
Parking is in the building lot. McCordsville patients often pair veneer appointments with Geist-area errands or Castleton shopping; we can usually accommodate mid-morning or early-afternoon scheduling to make the drive efficient.
Pricing and Financing
We give you a written, itemized estimate at the planning visit. That number is the price. We do not add fees once treatment is underway. Cost depends on the number of teeth, the material (porcelain vs. composite), and whether any preparatory work — whitening of neighboring teeth, contouring — improves the final result.
If you have PPO dental insurance, we file the claim. Most plans classify veneers as cosmetic and contribute little, but we verify your benefits ahead of treatment so you know exactly what to expect. Without insurance, our Membership Discount Plan covers preventive work at a flat annual fee and discounts cosmetic work. OrthoFi financing breaks veneer treatment into fixed monthly payments at terms that fit most household budgets.

Veneers FAQs
What's the time commitment for a veneers case?
From planning to final bonding, expect six to eight weeks. The planning visit is one to two hours. Preparation and temporary placement is another visit. The porcelain takes two to three weeks to fabricate at the lab. Final try-in and bonding is one to two hours. The visits are spread out, so most of those weeks you are simply waiting between appointments.
Will the veneers match my surrounding teeth?
Shade matching is one of the most detailed parts of veneer work. We map your teeth's existing color across multiple shade scales, account for translucency and surface texture, and build the veneers to match either your current shade or a brighter shade if you also want whitening as part of the case. The try-in stage is where you confirm the match looks right under your normal lighting, before final bonding.
What happens if a veneer comes loose or chips?
Modern porcelain veneers rarely fail when prep and bonding are done well, but it happens. If a veneer comes loose, we re-bond it. If a veneer chips, we either polish out the chip or replace the veneer, depending on the size. We back the work and we are honest about what failures look like up front so there are no surprises.
